VEVA is a non-profit Society dedicated to advocating electric vehicle adoption and electrification of transportation.

While our efforts are focused on events and activities in the Metro Vancouver region, we advocate for Provincial and Federal government policy that supports EVs, and we work closely with other EV Clubs and Associations in British Columbia and across Canada through EV Society of Canada. Some of our local activities also align with organizations in the US such as the EAA and Plug In America.

We rely on the broad range of skills of our volunteer members in achieving our mission.

Members can also contribute by joining our active committees such as  Government Relations, Events & Outreach, Meetings and a committee that is charged with the care, maintenance, restoration and showcasing our rare 1912 Detroit Electric Car.

Would you like to put your talents to use for this worthy cause?

Social Media Coordinator

The Social Media Coordinator is the key to creating awareness and relaying VEVA's efforts to our network. Working with our outreach committee,  you will create, schedule and support VEVA's activities using platforms such as Hootsuite.

You are organized at your work and passionate about your interest in moving our planet to a more sustainable and stable future.

Got experience in managing social media handles for an organization or team?

Are you hands-on with tools such as Canva, InDesign etc. that sets you apart?

Your skills in digital comms, content management and graphics would be super-valued.

Is this you? Feel free to reach out to us with a note about yourself at

Digital Archivist

VEVA's a non-profit and has been promoting electrification of transportation for the last 30+ years! You as a Digital Archivist would help organize and catalogue the organizations' assets from our servers, websites, member forums and social media handles.

Some background knowledge of EVs and electrification helps, but is not a must-have.

The Digital Archivist is an expert in identifying ways to preserve digital records and

create a simple way to access them by our members.

You are a natural organizer.  Assets to archive include creatives, documents, photographs,

recordings and partner videos.
